The Cuckoos Nest

We have the most disturbing news. We were in the gardens, reading when we heard a rustling sound.

Upon investigation we found a corpse rising from Miss Grey's seemingly empty grave. This adds a whole other twist to the on going drama of the intergalactic chase. Upon her ressurection "Miss Grey" seemed disoriented and confused. Obviously alive before her time.

But if this is Miss Grey, then who is that woman flying about, zapping everyone? This creates more questions than it answers. Maybe upon the Dark Phoenix's defeat, some things can be answered. But until then, we have two Miss Greys. At least this one is no longer part of the living undead.

She has made her home in her room, not coming out or leaving. Ever. We are afraid to speak with her, for fear of setting her off onto some murderous rampage as well.

Perhaps one of them is Madelyne Pryor? But Maddie doesn't have the Phoenix Force, so she must be the dead one. Which means she was burried under Jean's grave. A quite understandable mistake, but I doubt that's it....

Did this not happen the first time?

Perhaps this is the real Jean.

And the other is the Force created clone.

We should get tests run on her.

Perhaps Dr. McCoy could help us.

Perhaps it is the true Phoenix, girls, that is causing all the mayhem. Well, I have trained you perfectly and trust that you can handle this situation, my dears. The Dark Phoenix will hopefully stop her rampage soon... I have several meetings that I am needed at and her destroying the world or universe would mess up the whole thing. So do be careful, girls, I trust in your abilities.

This is quite the unexpected development. Looks like we're going to have to order a case of Lubridurm for whichever Jean this is.
